Milexia Nordics celebrates 22 years of growth and innovation under Brian Dehlsen, reflecting on the company’s journey and looking ahead to new opportunities in the Nordic electronics market.

This year, Milexia Nordics proudly celebrates 22 years under the leadership of Managing Director, Brian Dehlsen, who founded the company in 2003 as Cabcongroup in Denmark.

From a small start-up to a leading distributor of electronic components across the Nordic region, the journey has been remarkable. We sat down with Brian to look back on the company’s evolution and hear his thoughts on the future.

What inspired you to start Cabcongroup back in 2003? 

“I wanted to build an opportunity-driven company that truly added value throughout the entire supply chain. My goal was to combine strong technical expertise with a genuine commitment to exceptional customer service — and I’m proud that this mindset still defines Milexia Nordics today.” 

How has Milexia Nordics changed over the last 22 years? 

“The growth has been incredible. From a small team In Denmark to a full-fledged Nordic operation including a great team in Hong Kong, we’ve expanded our product portfolio, entered new markets, and developed long-lasting relationships with our customers and partners. What truly stands out is how our team spirit and dedication have grown alongside the business.” 

What are you most proud of? 

“What I’m most proud of isn’t just our growth — it’s the people who have been part of this journey and all the relationships built over the years. Over more than 20 years, I’ve had the privilege of working with hundreds of dedicated, talented, and passionate colleagues, partners, and other stakeholders who have helped shape the company into what it is today. From the very beginning, I had a clear idea of how I wanted to build and grow the business, and I still enjoy working with strategy and finding new ways to reach our goals together. I truly couldn’t have done this without the team — both those who are with us today and all who have contributed along the way. And after all these years, I’m proud to say that I still love what I do.” 

What challenges have shaped the company? 

“Like any business, we’ve faced our share of challenges — from market fluctuations to rapid technological shifts. The past few years have taught us that while we can plan a lot, we can never fully predict what’s coming next. That’s why one of our key responsibilities as a management team is to stay agile and always think one step ahead. Each challenge has pushed us to innovate, refine our processes, and strengthen our relationships with customers and partners.” 

Looking ahead, what excites you about the future of Milexia Nordics? 

“Looking ahead, I’m excited about entering a new phase for Milexia Nordics. Becoming part of the Milexia Group has opened new doors and opportunities, allowing us to explore new products, partners, territories, and challenges. There’s incredible potential for growth, and I’m looking forward to taking the company to the next level with our talented team while continuing to create value for our customers and partners.”
