Milexia Nordics – formerly known as Cabcongroup – celebrated its first anniversary as part of the Milexia Group in June 2025. A year of expanded technical capabilities, new business opportunities, and a strengthened international outlook.
In June 2024, Cabcongroup was acquired by Milexia Group, a leading European provider of high-tech components and systems for distribution and integration. The acquisition was a strategic move for both parties: it strengthened Milexia’s presence in the Nordic and Asian markets, while providing Cabcongroup with access to a wider international network and more resources.
Following the acquisition, Cabcongroup was rebranded as Milexia Nordics and assumed responsibility for Milexia’s operations across the Nordic region. This brought not only a new visual identity but also a central role in developing Milexia’s regional presence and expanding into new business areas.
One year later – real impact and a unified vision
The effects of the integration can now be clearly seen across Milexia Nordics’ offices in Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland, and Hong Kong. Shared values and strategies from Milexia Group have become part of daily operations, helping to shape a cohesive direction across the business. According to Jacob Jørgensen, Sales Manager at Milexia Nordics, access to Milexia’s broader European network has been one of the most significant changes:
“Access to Milexia’s strong European network – both in terms of suppliers and colleagues – has opened doors to new partners, new products, and new markets. And we’ve done that without compromising our local relationships or the way we operate.”

Milexia DNA opens new markets
The integration has been far more than a rebrand. Milexia Group’s historical strength lies in advanced RF and microwave technologies, and this expertise is now part of the Milexia Nordics DNA. This has opened entirely new opportunities in the Nordics.
Over the past year, Milexia Nordics has built new capabilities, expanded its supplier base, and entered several new industries – particularly within communications, radar, positioning, and defence. With this enhanced position, the company is already delivering solutions to customers with demanding requirements for performance and reliability.
At the same time, Milexia Nordics continues to focus on its original core areas – including electromechanical components, passive solutions, cables, and wiring systems – with a commitment to delivering tailored, high-quality solutions backed by strong local support and access to global technologies.
As part of the Milexia Group, Milexia Nordics has formed new strategic partnerships that strengthen both existing and emerging offerings:
- Mini-Circuits, expanding the RF and microwave solutions portfolio
- Calian, a supplier of advanced satellite communications and defence systems
- Microchip, opening doors to embedded systems and semiconductor technologies
- Septentrio, providing precision receivers with anti-jamming and anti-spoofing capabilities
- Tai-Saw, specialising in compact SAW components for RF and timing applications
- Grayhill, leading designer and manufacturer of custom operator interface solutions
“We continue to offer the same trusted quality, experience, and strong customer relationships that our clients know us for. What’s changed is that we can now deliver more – with a broader supplier base, more technologies, and enhanced capabilities across Europe,” explains Jacob Jørgensen.
Growing focus on the defence sector
As part of its strategic growth, Milexia Nordics has increasingly focused on the defence industry, where demand for robust and dependable technology solutions is growing.
In Norway, the company is experiencing strong demand from sectors such as defence, offshore, and maritime, where technology must operate reliably in harsh and interference-prone environments.
To meet these demands, Milexia Nordics has strengthened its local technical capabilities by hiring a Field Application Engineer with expertise in RF and microwave technologies. This has enabled deeper collaboration and more targeted technical support for customers. The ambition is to serve as a true technology partner and advisor within RF and Microwave.
“Our role goes beyond supplying components. The defence industry is constantly evolving, setting new and complex requirements. We work closely with our customers, offering local expertise and dependable, high-quality products – a combination that positions us to meet the industry’s toughest demands.”

Advanced solutions for demanding applications
With access to high-quality components from international partners and a strong local sales and support team, Milexia Nordics now supports a wide range of critical applications, including UAVs, detection systems, and electronic warfare. The combination of local insight and global resources makes the company a valuable partner in developing the next generation of defence technology in the Nordics. But this is only the beginning. The foundations are in place, and the company is already looking to scale up further.
“Our goal is to build an even stronger portfolio and establish a more significant presence in the military sector across the Nordics. We aim to grow both in terms of products and technical capabilities, and we’re excited to expand further in this area,” says Jacob Jørgensen.
Milexia Nordics is also seeing increasing external interest in this field. This is especially for technologies that safeguard systems against intentional or accidental jamming and spoofing – whether in communications, positioning, timing, or radar.
A promising first year – with eyes on the future
One year on, Milexia Nordics reflects with both pride and forward-looking optimism. Milexia has been an active partner in the journey, and the group synergies are already creating value.
“We have big ambitions for the coming year. Milexia provides us with both scale and specialisation – which allows us to grow across borders while staying firmly rooted in the Nordic market,” says Brian Dehlsen, Managing Director of Milexia Nordics.
In the coming year, Norway is also a top priority:
“Norway has a strong technological tradition and high quality standards, which aligns perfectly with our DNA. Our goal is to expand our customer base, strengthen partnerships, and increase local presence through more activities,” says Brian Dehlsen.
At Milexia Nordics, the mission for the future is clear: To remain a forward-thinking technology partner and a trusted company for Nordic businesses – today and in the future.
