Sonnet Software has released the new SONNET® Suites Professional™ Release 18, adding revolutionary new technologies to the already established standard product recognised as the world reference in EM simulation.
Among the most significant new features are
- the TrueVolume model for the analysis of thick metal conductors
- a new Sonnet Technology File Editor, designed to directly edit .stf files
- the User Equation Editor, designed to add customised equations to graph curves
In addition, it is now possible to generate 3D Antenna Patterns, apply graph templates and use the ODB++ translator.
Improved functionality also includes the ability to plot volume currents, add markers to line segments and remove unused sources.
The software upgrade is already available for customers with active maintenance contracts.
