The PMAR-100N is purpose-built for maritime applications and features a three-axis stabilisation system. It incorporates high-precision angle sensors, magneto-resistive sensors, a gyroscopic sensor, and a GPS antenna. Together, these components enable real-time monitoring and adjustment, allowing the antenna to automatically search for and track satellites—maintaining reliable communication even in rough sea conditions.
Supporting both Ku and Ka-band operation, the PMAR-100N offers high-precision satellite tracking. Utilising an advanced conical scan algorithm, it achieves accurate satellite lock-on with a pointing precision of 0.2° RMS. Its rapid multi-satellite switching capability allows for swift angle adjustments and seamless transitions between target satellites.
With integrated digital finding technology, the PMAR-100N accurately identifies the correct satellite by analysing the carrier-to-noise (C/N) ratio of the desired satellite signal.
