Benchtop X-ray microtomograph (micro-CT) for non-destructive three-dimensional reconstruction of the internal microstructure of objects with a spatial resolution of 8µm
Compact, powerful and easy to install, it delivers clear, artefact-free 3D images of even complex materials such as plastics, composites, ceramics, biological tissues or electronic components.
The system comprises a sealed, maintenance-free metal-ceramic X-ray source, a high-resolution 15-megapixel CMOS detector with cooling and camera-shift technology, and a precision electromechanical manipulator controlled by micro-step motors. It enables stable, artefact-free acquisitions and accurate 3D reconstruction, even for complex geometries.
The 4-position filter changer optimises image quality according to the materials being scanned. The NEOSCAN N60 is supplied with several sample holders and can be used in a standard laboratory environment thanks to its shielding against radiation leakage.
