Alcon Exxelia Snubber Capacitors

Designed for high-power converters, Exxelia Alcon Electronics Pvt Ltd’s IGBT snubber capacitors (MP-4, MP-4A, KPF and KPF-9 series) utilise a low-loss polypropylene film dielectric.

Suitable for low and medium pulse applications, the MP-4 and MP-4A models feature metallised double plastic film electrodes and a quasi-metallised polypropylene electrode, while the KPF and KPF-9 models use aluminium foil electrodes and are designed for extremely high pulse applications. The KP-3C, on the other hand, using extended aluminium foil electrodes with an impregnated polypropylene film dielectric, features a design suitable not only for IGBT protection circuits and snubber networks, but also for low and medium frequency tuning/resonant circuits.
