Electromagnetic speed log for underwater vehicles.
The SM2000 is a compact electromagnetic speed log specially designed for underwater vehicles like UUV, SDV, ROV. It is resistant to a water pressure of 30 bars.

It is designed to be installed on:

• Navy towed pod
• Swimmer Delivery Vehicle
• ROV
• UUV

• Output: 1 x RS422 NMEA 0183 format communication
• Input : 1 x RS422
• Water resistant to 30 Bars (300 m deep).
• Speed measurement -30 to +30 Knots resolution 0.01 Kn,
• Distance measurement 0 to 99999.9 NM resolution 0.1 NM
• For the wired version, only the side of the electrodes is in contact with the water (the sensor is installed crossing the hull)
