RoHS Compliance

Milexia UK is aware of, and supports, the European Union’s RoHS3 Directive 2015/863.

As a distributor, Milexia UK is able to provide information and documentation made available to us by the Manufacturer regarding the material content of the products we sell or the manufacturing processes used in their production. RoHS status information supplied by Milexia UK is based solely on information provided to us by the Manufacturer and, as such, Milexia UK are not responsible for the accuracy of this information.

Milexia UK distributes a very wide variety of products, including RoHS Compliant and RoHS Non-Compliant products. Customers must take an active role in understanding environmental compliance of products and selecting products accordingly. Milexia can display, when requested, RoHS compliance on sales quotations, orders and invoices.

EU RoHS specifies maximum levels for the following 10 restricted substances. The first six applied to the original RoHS, while the last four were added under RoHS 3, which took effect on 22 July 2019:

  • Cadmium (Cd): < 100 ppm
  • Lead (Pb): < 1000 ppm
  • Mercury (Hg): < 1000 ppm
  • Hexavalent Chromium: (Cr VI) < 1000 ppm
  • Polybrominated Biphenyls (PBB): < 1000 ppm
  • Polybrominated Diphenyl Ethers (PBDE): < 1000 ppm
  • Bis(2-Ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP): < 1000 ppm
  • Benzyl butyl phthalate (BBP): < 1000 ppm
  • Dibutyl phthalate (DBP): < 1000 ppm
  • Diisobutyl phthalate (DIBP): < 1000 ppm

REACH Compliance

Milexia UK understands and supports the European Union’s REACH Regulation (EC No 1907/2006) and, following the UK’s withdrawal from the EU, the new UK REACH Regulation.

As a distributor, Milexia UK can provide information and documentation made available to us by the Manufacturer regarding the material content of the products we sell or the manufacturing processes used to make these products.

Milexia UK distributes a very wide selection of products and not all the products we sell have a REACH status at this time. We are actively surveying our suppliers to gain awareness of their compliance with the REACH Regulation. REACH status information supplied by Milexia UK is based solely on information provided to us by our manufacturers. Customers must take an active role in understanding environmental compliance of products and select products accordingly.
