UKCA Marking UKCA/CE Marking Compliance Update
The UK has now left the European Union, with the Brexit transition period ending on 31 December 2020. This has had an impact on conformity marking of goods, meaning that any products placed on the market within Great Britain from 1 January 2021 will require the UKCA mark.
Milexia fully understands the new UKCA marking requirements and is committed to being fully compliant. In order to transition successfully to the new requirements Milexia, as the ‘Importer’, is working closely with all its manufacturers and suppliers to ensure full compliance. However, in some cases, some products will not bear the UKCA marking until the official deadline of 1 January 2022 but will retain the CE marking during this period.
We continue to monitor and work closely with our business partners to comply with the new UK product marking scheme.
