Anti-Counterfeit Anti-Counterfeit Statement
Milexia UK holds customer confidence as a key indicator of success. We are committed to preventing the introduction of counterfeit material into our supply chain and ensuring the authenticity and integrity of all products and materials delivered to our customers, in accordance with Def Stan 05-135.
As part of this commitment, we undertake the following activities:
· Risk-Based Assessment of the supply chain to identify and mitigate exposure to counterfeit risks.
· Approved Supplier Controls, ensuring procurement only from Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), Original Component Manufacturers (OCMs), or authorised distributors and resellers.
· Inspection and Verification of incoming materials and components, including authentication checks, documentation review, and testing where appropriate.
· Training and Awareness for relevant personnel to recognise counterfeit risks and follow reporting protocols.
· Non-Conformance Management procedures to ensure that any suspected counterfeit items are quarantined, investigated, and reported as required.
· Reporting of Suspect Counterfeit Materiel in accordance with industry best practices. This includes, where applicable, notifying customer, supplier and other relevant authorities. In the UK, this includes the Police and Trading Standards.
· Secure Destruction of all confirmed counterfeit items following completion of any relevant investigations or prosecutions to prevent any possibility of re-entry into the supply chain.
We are dedicated to upholding the integrity and reliability of the products we provide. We expect and require our suppliers to adopt similar anti-counterfeit measures and flow down applicable requirements throughout their own supply chains to ensure full compliance and traceability.
The senior management team is responsible for ensuring compliance to this policy.
