Rotary Transductors
Precise position, speed, and acceleration sensors for extreme environments, such as aerospace and military applications.
CDA Intercorp Rotary Transductors are high-precision sensors used to measure angular position, speed, and acceleration in advanced systems.
Developed from technology with a heritage in military, aerospace, and space exploration applications, these transductors provide high reliability and robustness for demanding environments.
Features
- High-precision measurement of position, speed, and acceleration.
- Use of materials and processes equivalent to those in their motors, ensuring strength against extreme temperatures and harsh environments.
- Customization capability, adapting to specific application requirements, including options for custom housings and connectors.
- Standard modular construction for easy integration with other systems such as motors, brakes, and gears.
- Certified under ISO 9001 quality management systems and engineered to comply with MIL-STD-810 for military and space applications.
Applications
- Defence, commercial aviation, robotic systems, high-reliability industrial control, and applications in the “downhole” oil and gas sector.
Types & Options
CDA Rotary Transductors can integrate different technologies as needed:
- Position transductors: Brushless resolvers, RVDT (Rotary Variable Differential Transformer), Redundant options.
- Speed transductors: AC tachometers, Damping tachometers, Permanent magnet alternators
- Acceleration transductors: Brushless rotary accelerometers
- Gear options: with or without gears, for direct mounting or embedded alongside the motor
The modular design of these transductors allows direct or embedded integration with motors, brakes, or gears, and enables customization of connectors and housings according to client specifications.
Available technologies include brushless resolvers, RVDT, AC tachometers, permanent magnet alternators, and rotary accelerometers.
All transductors comply with ISO 9001 quality standards and are prepared for MIL-STD-810 military regulations.
