The PTA-450 is a transportable, foldable satellite antenna system designed for use in a range of applications and across multiple frequency bands. The antenna, along with its RF equipment, is mounted on a trailer and automatically folds into a compact unit without the need for disassembly.
The PTA-450 is a dual-optic antenna system comprising a 4.5m prime-focus main reflector and sub-reflector, a quick-install feed arm, feed horn, and a trailer with an integrated stabilising jack system. The feed horn assembly is optionally available for Ku-, Ka-, X-, and C-band operation.
The PTA-450 is compatible with the PALS PAC-550 military-grade antenna controller and is equipped with a GPS module, position detection system, and a high-performance satellite beacon receiving unit.
