Miniature Atomic Clock (MAC – SA5X)
MAC-SA5X: Rubidium atomic stability in a mini, low-power format for critical applications. Nanosecond synchronization!
Miniaturized Atomic Clock (MAC – SA5X) Rubidium oscillator, redesigned for greater stability and new functions.
Microchip’s next-generation miniaturized rubidium atomic clock MAC-SA5X produces a stable time and frequency reference.
It maintains high synchronization with a reference clock, such as a GNSS-derived signal, despite static g-forces or other factors.
The combination of low monthly drift rate, short-term stability, and stability during temperature changes enables precise frequency and time requirements to be maintained over extended holdover periods
in GNSS outages or applications where rack-mounted clocks cannot be used.
