On Recycling Day, we proudly highlight our partnerships with ESAT Jean Pierrat and Elise to collect and recycle waste at Milexia.

On this Recycling Day, we are proud to highlight our partnerships with ESAT Jean Pierrat in Buc and Elise in Lyon, which help us collect and recycle our waste streams at Milexia. Through these collaborations, we are taking active steps toward a more sustainable future.

Over the past year, we’ve successfully recycled:

  • 162 kg of paper (blue bin)
  • 144 kg of packaging waste (yellow bin)
  • 145 kg of coffee pods
  • 3 kg of hard drives
  • 45 toner cartridges
  • 53 office chairs

Additionally, by partnering with YesYes, we’ve saved 78 kg of CO² per smartphone purchased, which equals 780 kg per year. Congratulations to all who have contributed to these efforts!

Adopt the 3Rs: Reduce, Reuse, Recycle

In France, Recycling Day is an opportunity to remind everyone of the best practices for sorting and recycling. Through the LesBonnesHabitudes campaign, supported by the Ministry of Ecological Transition, Ademe, and eco-organisms, the goal is to promote the 3Rs: Reduce, Reuse, Recycle. This initiative aims to encourage the French public to adopt more responsible consumption by reducing waste, reusing items, and learning the proper sorting techniques for effective recycling.

Focus on the Anti-Waste Law for a Circular Economy

Recycling Day is also an opportunity to discuss the new measures of the Anti-Waste Law for a Circular Economy, which aims to tackle various forms of waste. Starting in 2025, the law aims to reduce single-use plastic packaging by 20%, with at least half of that reduction coming from reuse, in order to reduce everyday plastic use and ultimately phase out single-use plastic.

Did you know?

Your waste can be transformed into new products!

  • Low-energy light bulbs → recycled to make new light bulbs.
  • Textiles and shoes → reused or turned into insulation or cleaning cloths.
  • Electronic waste → valuable metals are extracted to create new devices.

Every small gesture counts in creating a bigger impact. Let’s make recycling a part of our daily lives!
