This Christmas we exchanged our traditional Santa Claus gifts for the joy of giving, by running a toy donation drive for our chosen charities, Necker Children’s Hospital and Secour Populaire.

The main requirement was that the gifts were still in their original packaging, but we also sent out a list of gift ideas to guide employees, including figurines, dolls, educational games, and books. Additionally, to guarantee that the gifts were distributed fairly, a budget limit of €30 was set. The toys were collected from our three Milexia sites in Saint-Aubin, Montbonnot-Saint-Martin, and Villeurbanne. Thanks to the generosity of our staff, over 80 toys were collected for the children! For each toy that was donated, the company also made a financial donation to further aid the charities’ causes.

Necker Children’s Hospital is one of the largest hospitals dedicated to paediatric care. They will be donating the toys not just for Christmas period but also for birthdays, and particularly difficult moments of care for the children. Secours Populaire is a charity dedicated to helping families in precarious situations, supplying these vulnerable individuals with food, clothing, and financial aid. They will have distributed the gifts so that the children of these families could still share in the joy of the season.
